During last October and November McTell played 30 concerts in U.K. to coincide with the release of his "Stealin' back ...." blues album on Essential / Castle Records, but it seems it was not enough. Festival Appearances
Confirm so far this year - Ralph will be performing at Ironbridge Bluegrass & Folk Festival, Ironbrige, Shropshire. A weekend festival, which runs from Friday 11 June through to Sunday 13 June. Ralph will be appearing on Saturday 12 June ~ other artist due to appear are Richard Greene & Simon Mayor Band, Daisy Belle, Bluegrass etc, Alan Munde and Percussion Discussion Africa. Ralph joins old friends Fairport Convention as a special guest at this years Cropredy Festival. The fesitval will run over Friday 13 and Saturday 14 August 1999, from 1.00pm onwards. Over the two days The Richard Thompson Band, The Dylan Project, Maddy Prior & Friends and Julie Matthews amongst others will all be joining Fairport Convention.
